About the role
- Analyze and document current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") financial processes.
- Identify and prioritize system enhancements, automation opportunities, and process improvements.
- Develop business requirements and support system design, testing, and implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare business cases and long-term technology plans.
- Liaise with Information & Technology Services (I&TS) to align on architecture, integration, and support needs.
- Maintain financial systems inventory and ensure documentation and change management readiness.
- Support project planning, ROI analysis, post-implementation reviews, and report preparation.
Requirements
- University degree or college diploma in a related discipline with at least 2-3 years of experience in system/business analysis including analysis and design of business systems, information and systems requirements development, data modeling and analysis, and process modeling.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Strong skills in business and systems analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Solid understanding of finance operations and strategy.
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
- Proven ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Skilled in requirements gathering, testing, and documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Access).
- Familiar with Visual Basic or similar programming languages.
- Effective team player and independent contributor.
