About the role

  • Analyze and document current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") financial processes.
  • Identify and prioritize system enhancements, automation opportunities, and process improvements.
  • Develop business requirements and support system design, testing, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare business cases and long-term technology plans.
  • Liaise with Information & Technology Services (I&TS) to align on architecture, integration, and support needs.
  • Maintain financial systems inventory and ensure documentation and change management readiness.
  • Support project planning, ROI analysis, post-implementation reviews, and report preparation.

Requirements

  • University degree or college diploma in a related discipline with at least 2-3 years of experience in system/business analysis including analysis and design of business systems, information and systems requirements development, data modeling and analysis, and process modeling.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Strong skills in business and systems analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Solid understanding of finance operations and strategy.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
  • Proven ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Skilled in requirements gathering, testing, and documentation.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Familiar with Visual Basic or similar programming languages.
  • Effective team player and independent contributor.
