About the role
- As a member of our Solution Architect team, you must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
- This role serves customers and potential clients by helping confirm their needs, confirming the specific configuration of RegEd products (in conjunction with existing products), and by representing RegEd as a product expert.
- This role is responsible for actively driving and managing the specific configuration requirements to ensure the proper RegEd solution is identified, sold, contracted and implemented.
- The Solution Architect will work in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for products.
- Responsible for coordinating with the sales rep to best understand the client’s specific business need, solution requirements, and pain points to establish a clear solution configuration with detailed pricing.
- Responsible for representing the product to customers and delivery of product demonstrations.
- Assist in the responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs, with a key focus on partnering with the sales rep to formulate a strong strategy for the proposal response.
- Orchestrate and manage any Proof of Concepts (POCs) that are required in the enterprise sales cycle.
- Ability to travel through the assigned sales territory.
- Support RegEd sales representatives and their sales cycles.
- Attend and participate in client meetings (exploratory calls, demos and presentations).
- Create documentation of potential client configuration requirements, including customization needs, requests for enhancements and identification of price points.
- Generate documentation of meeting notes and tracking of meeting takeaway assignments.
- Participate in the review of client proposals for specific customer requirements.
- Assist in the review of contracts to ensure the proper configuration is documented.
- Support the transition from the sales process through to the implementation process for optimal knowledge transfer.
- Maintain a technical knowledge of the RegEd product line and the financial services industry.
- Contribute to product management roadmap development by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed to ensure sales success.
- Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments.
- Collaborate with marketing and product management in the prioritization and/or development of various sales tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Extensive experience within financial services, compliance/risk management
- Technical and/or project management experience or other successful client-facing experience.
- Knowledge of the financial services / insurance / securities compliance industry’s concepts, practices, and procedures a plus.
- Masters' Degree in a related field
