Apply principles of Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering to manufacturing processes to achieve maximum quality and productivity from labor, materials and equipment
Provide shop floor support in daily problem solving activities
Identify and implement projects such as productivity and cost reduction projects in assigned area
Develop and maintain appropriate process documentation to support ISO 9000 Certification
Create job work instructions on existing and incoming equipment
Develop and implement World Class Manufacturing processes
Investigate, justify and implement capital equipment needs
Communicate company goals, objectives and philosophies to the workforce and attend communication meetings
Follow Emerson Ethics and Safety Programs and adhere to Export, Import and Supply Chain Security Policy requirements
Follow State and Federal Environmental Compliance Programs and adhere to ISO 9000 Standards

Requirements
Currently enrolled in an accredited technical school or college.
1-2 years experience
Travel Required: Minimal
Personal Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Proficient with Internet
Above average verbal and written communication skills
Ability to get along with others
Can effectively function in a matrix and team environment
