About the role

  • Server as the technical liaison for the highly valued customers assigned to you
  • Translate customer drawings, specification, and requests into product solutions
  • Learn customer application to establish tests and procedures for qualifying our products
  • Proactively identify opportunities to bring value to the customer
  • Act as the subject matter expert in motor and drive products at customer sites
  • Support routine product changes, deviations, and sample development
  • Provide leadership and timely resolution to outstanding customer issues
  • Conduct competitive analysis on other manufacturers’ motors
  • Support the digital customer experience (DCX) by contributing to the frequently asked questions database

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with emphasis on documentation
  • Ability to gather requirements, write specifications, test plans, and application notes
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship and team-building skills; Including conflict resolution
  • Individual must be proactive, high energy and have strong problem solving skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Willingness and Ability to learn, help, create and adapt to new technologies
  • Aptitude for troubleshooting computer hardware and software program issues
  • Ability to travel and work at a customer site for extended period of time
  • 1 to 3 yrs. experience in HVAC, commercial appliance, commercial refrigeration, or electric motor Industry (preferred)
  • Ability to interpret electronics and HVAC schematics, bill of materials and engineering drawings (preferred)
  • Six Sigma trained, Experience with statistical analysis, Greenbelt certified (preferred)
