We're seeking a Design Engineer who is passionate about creating beautiful, intuitive, and highly performant user interfaces.
You will be a critical bridge between design and engineering, responsible for bringing our product vision to life.
You'll work directly within our engineering team to build new features, refine existing ones, and ensure our UI is a key differentiator.
Your ability to make design decisions directly in code is core, as you'll be empowered to shape the user experience from the ground up.
Collaborate closely with the design and engineering to conceptualize and implement new user-facing features.
Prototype and iterate rapidly on UI concepts directly in the codebase, moving from idea to implementation with minimal friction.
Develop and maintain our component library, ensuring it's robust, accessible, and easy for the entire team to use.
Champion a high standard for design and code quality, ensuring our application is not only beautiful but also performant and maintainable. Act as a design-focused engineer, providing guidance to other front-end engineers on UI implementation and best practices.
Requirements
6-8+ years experience working as a Design Engineer, frontend engineer with strong design skills, or designer with strong engineering skills
You thrive in fast-adapting environments, contribute beyond the job description, and work autonomously.
You have a strong portfolio of projects built with React and TypeScript.
You're an expert with modern CSS, especially utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
You possess a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for good design, with the ability to create pixel-perfect, polished user interfaces.
You are a natural prototyper who's comfortable exploring in Figma, code, or AI tools, depending on what's fastest
You have proven experience building and maintaining design systems or component libraries.
You are constantly experimenting with AI products and technology to figure out ways of creating a better customer experience and scaling your work.
