About the role
- accountable for leading and expanding Red Wing’s most strategic wholesale partnerships
- responsible for long‑term growth planning, sell‑in/sell‑through performance, and cross‑functional alignment
- drive strategy across wholesale channels to achieve brand presence and profitability goals
- oversee and develop a team of Key Account Managers for strategy execution and revenue goals
- provide insights on business needs to the Managing Director of North America Wholesale
- direct and manage key account acquisition and business growth
- collaborate with Product Creation and Marketing for product and marketing strategy
- leverage insights and analytics for resource deployment and future strategy development
- achieve financial objectives by forecasting requirements and preparing annual budget
- manage existing account relationships and drive expansion and renewals
- manage assigned staff and provide clarity of roles and responsibilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in sales, marketing, business or a related field
- minimum 7 to 10 years of sales management
- experience selling to key accounts in a Wholesale sales environment
- experience creating and implementing successful sales initiatives and plans
- experience leveraging CRM software such as Salesforce.com
- effective leadership of sales teams
- experience in selling premium footwear/workwear preferred
- strong ability to get results through influence and collaboration
- ability to leverage a dynamic sales process for increased revenue and profitability
- strong financial and business acumen
- strong communication and analytical skills
- proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
