About the role

  • accountable for leading and expanding Red Wing’s most strategic wholesale partnerships
  • responsible for long‑term growth planning, sell‑in/sell‑through performance, and cross‑functional alignment
  • drive strategy across wholesale channels to achieve brand presence and profitability goals
  • oversee and develop a team of Key Account Managers for strategy execution and revenue goals
  • provide insights on business needs to the Managing Director of North America Wholesale
  • direct and manage key account acquisition and business growth
  • collaborate with Product Creation and Marketing for product and marketing strategy
  • leverage insights and analytics for resource deployment and future strategy development
  • achieve financial objectives by forecasting requirements and preparing annual budget
  • manage existing account relationships and drive expansion and renewals
  • manage assigned staff and provide clarity of roles and responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in sales, marketing, business or a related field
  • minimum 7 to 10 years of sales management
  • experience selling to key accounts in a Wholesale sales environment
  • experience creating and implementing successful sales initiatives and plans
  • experience leveraging CRM software such as Salesforce.com
  • effective leadership of sales teams
  • experience in selling premium footwear/workwear preferred
  • strong ability to get results through influence and collaboration
  • ability to leverage a dynamic sales process for increased revenue and profitability
  • strong financial and business acumen
  • strong communication and analytical skills
  • proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
