Assist in the completion of projects designed to support strategic initiatives and technology projects
Responsible for delivery of small project/programs and assisting with District-wide projects and programs
Streamline and improve projects/programs and be involved in the communication and reporting to support the office
Handle various technical aspects of a project, refine project plans and timelines, identify constraints or challenges
Work in tandem (or assist) the Project Managers assigned to a technical and/or strategic project
Utilize facilitation skills for large and small groups, relationship management, and understanding of effective practices in large-scale project/program management
Attend/facilitate meetings and training
Other related duties/activities as assigned
Requirements
Must be US Citizen or Green card holder (no third parties)
Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in a project management or project coordination. Five (5) years desired
Bachelor's degree in education, business, technology, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Two years’ experience in facilitating meetings for diverse groups in-person and on Teams or another web-based platform
One year experience working in an educational or similar environment is highly desired
Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired
ITIL Foundation 4 certification is a plus
Skills in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), Teams, SharePoint, Forms, and Adobe Acrobat
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Scheduling, analyzing, notetaking, reporting, and presenting
Demonstrated ability to work in diverse teams to facilitate meetings and events
Ability to serve as a liaison with technical teams
Able to maintain appropriate discretion, tact and confidentiality
