About the role
- Lead end-to-end delivery of data engineering solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, warehousing, and analytics
- Develop and maintain project roadmaps, delivery schedules, risk management plans, and resource allocation
- Ensure alignment of technical milestones with contract requirements and CENTCOM needs
- Serve as primary liaison between government stakeholders, contracting representatives, technical teams, and partners
- Provide regular updates, progress reports, and executive briefings to senior leadership
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government and industry partners
- Drive continuous improvement in data engineering pipelines, tool adoption, and processes
- Anticipate risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure delivery continuity
- Support innovation efforts and align new data technologies with DoD objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Active DoD Secret clearance required; Top Secret/SCI strongly preferred
- 8+ years of experience in digital transformation program management
- At least 5 years leading large-scale data engineering or cloud-based projects
- Proven track record managing projects within the DoD or federal sector
- Strong understanding of the Databricks data intelligence platform
- Experience with Agile methodologies (desired)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) (desired)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) (desired)
- PMP or other relevant project management certifications (desired)
- Familiarity with data engineering tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Hadoop) (desired)
