About the role

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data engineering solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, warehousing, and analytics
  • Develop and maintain project roadmaps, delivery schedules, risk management plans, and resource allocation
  • Ensure alignment of technical milestones with contract requirements and CENTCOM needs
  • Serve as primary liaison between government stakeholders, contracting representatives, technical teams, and partners
  • Provide regular updates, progress reports, and executive briefings to senior leadership
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government and industry partners
  • Drive continuous improvement in data engineering pipelines, tool adoption, and processes
  • Anticipate risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure delivery continuity
  • Support innovation efforts and align new data technologies with DoD objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required; Top Secret/SCI strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in digital transformation program management
  • At least 5 years leading large-scale data engineering or cloud-based projects
  • Proven track record managing projects within the DoD or federal sector
  • Strong understanding of the Databricks data intelligence platform
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (desired)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) (desired)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) (desired)
  • PMP or other relevant project management certifications (desired)
  • Familiarity with data engineering tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Hadoop) (desired)
