About the role
- Lead Enterprise Architecture Strategy
- Own technical discovery from initial assessment through solution design and transition to delivery.
- Translate business objectives into practical infrastructure architecture strategies.
- Develop modernization roadmaps aligned to operational maturity and cloud integration goals.
- Architect Modern Data Center Networks
- Design and validate EVPN/VXLAN spine-leaf architectures and application-centric networking models.
- Architect enterprise routing and switching solutions using MPLS, MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, L3VPN/L2VPN.
- Define high-availability, multi-site, and disaster-resilient network designs.
- Guide lifecycle planning including upgrades, migration sequencing, and failure domain modeling.
- Drive Secure Networking and Segmentation
- Architect firewall integration, segmentation strategy, and policy enforcement across data center, WAN, campus, and cloud.
- Design SD-WAN and secure access architectures aligned with Zero Trust and SASE frameworks.
- Integrate security telemetry and operational visibility into network designs.
- Modernize Hybrid Infrastructure
- Design solutions spanning virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix) and software-defined networking and storage.
- Architect connectivity between on-premises environments and public cloud providers.
- Align compute, storage, backup, and disaster recovery strategies with network architecture.
- Support Complex Pre-Sales Engagements
- Lead architecture workshops and technical deep dives with enterprise engineering teams.
- Support RFP/RFI responses and contribute to scopes of work and implementation strategies.
- Produce detailed HLD/LLD documentation, architecture diagrams, and BOM-level designs.
- Ensure clean transition from pre-sales architecture to delivery teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive enterprise infrastructure and networking experience
- Deep expertise in enterprise routing and switching (MPLS, MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, L3VPN/L2VPN)
- Strong background in modern data center networking (EVPN/VXLAN, spine-leaf architectures, application-centric models)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco platforms and secure networking technologies including Palo Alto and/or Fortinet
- Experience designing enterprise-grade WAN and service provider connectivity architectures
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix or similar)
- Experience integrating on-premises environments with public cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and multi-site resiliency design
- Ability to produce detailed architecture diagrams and implementation-ready documentation.
- Preferred Certifications:
- Security & Networking Vendors Palo Alto Networks (PCNSE or equivalent)
- Cisco (CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, CCNP Service Provider, or CCIE)
- Fortinet NSE 4–7
- General Networking Certifications CCNA / CCNP / CCIE
