About the role

  • Develop strategy for region that is in line with direction led by CEO and COO.
  • Develop operational plans to assure revenue and EBITDA are achieved.
  • Expect, measure and deliver best in class safety performance.
  • Create culture of safety first in all we do in our Mission to Zero.
  • Partner with SVP, Commercial to develop and execute plans to grow chain revenue through price, share or white space.
  • Develop regular ongoing practices and processes to grow EBITDA with independents through price, share, white space and LVA.
  • Set expectations to deliver 5 to 10% annual year over year productivity in MPV.
  • Develop prudent capital plan that focuses on safety and productivity.
  • Partner with SVP Supply chain to develop delivery optimization for the region, markets, and each site.
  • Assure service and productivity are both met and we deliver 5 to 10% year over year delivery productivity.
  • Delivery and distributor management are keys to success.
  • Partner with Field Equipment Services team to execute 2018 end to end new process design.
  • Deliver safety, service, and productivity to delivered goals while executing new process.
  • Continue to identify new ideas for improvements.
  • Utilize end to end KPI’s to lead and manage our business.
  • Assure team understands daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s.
  • Communicate and expect a culture of meeting targets and recovery on misses.
  • Continually evaluate entire team for character, competence and cultural fit.
  • Provide straight forward feedback that is actionable for improvement and growth.
  • Developed motivate team members to drive success.
  • Operate 24 x 7 x 365 with a Lean leadership mind set.
  • Set expectations, ensure team understanding and education.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience managing and/or directing multi-state, multi-unit manufacturing and sales teams, including budget development, P&L management, and strategy/KPI development, execution, and measurement
  • 10+ years’ experience managing diverse teams of exempt and non-exempt employees
  • Certified in Lean Management with 5+ years’ experience in deploying lean methodology in operations environment.
  • High influencing skills and excellent communications skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Strong customer service mentality and focus
  • Strong change management skills
  • Delivery and field maintenance experience are preferred.
