About the role

  • Reddit is looking for a strategic and results-oriented Global Director of SMB Sales to define and lead the global vision, strategy, and execution for our SMB advertiser segment. This key leadership role will be responsible for driving performance, scalability, and operational excellence across our global outsourced sales partner ecosystem, which includes hundreds of vendor-based sales reps and support roles spanning North America and EMEA.
  • Reporting into our VP Global Mid-Market + SMB, this role will oversee regional Sales Directors, influence cross-functional priorities, and represent the voice of the SMB advertiser internally. The ideal candidate is a proven leader in scaling global SMB sales operations, has deep experience managing outsourced partner relationships, and thrives in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
  • Location: This role is required to be based near one of our sales hubs. It’s ideal for this leader to be based onsite with our SMB vendor teams in Lisbon, Portugal or Salt Lake City, Utah. We are also open to candidates who can work in person from our offices in London, New York, San Francisco, or Los Angeles.
  • What You’ll Do: Own the global strategy and execution for Reddit’s SMB sales segment, including growth targets, vendor performance, budget allocation, and market expansion. Build and refine scalable workflows, enablement programs, and performance frameworks that ensure consistent execution and high ROI across all markets.
  • Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in sales, business operations, or sales strategy roles, with at least 5 years managing global or multi-region sales organizations. Demonstrated success scaling outsourced SMB sales operations, with direct experience overseeing vendor teams and international market expansion. Deep understanding of the SMB advertiser ecosystem and the sales motions required to drive acquisition and retention at scale.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, business operations, or sales strategy roles, with at least 5 years managing global or multi-region sales organizations
  • Demonstrated success scaling outsourced SMB sales operations, with direct experience overseeing vendor teams and international market expansion
  • Deep understanding of the SMB advertiser ecosystem and the sales motions required to drive acquisition and retention at scale
  • Excellent communication, influence, and executive presentation skills; able to represent the SMB business internally to senior leadership
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen; experienced in managing Opex budgets and optimizing for ROI
  • Proficient in performance dashboards, forecasting, and tooling (e.g., Salesforce, Looker, Outreach)
  • Proven ability to drive alignment across matrixed functions including Marketing, Product, Sales Ops, and Enablement
