About the role
- Oversee daily operations of vendor partners, including monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), quality metrics and agent output
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor partners by fostering a collaborative relationship, conducting regular business reviews, and addressing performance or operational issues
- Manage the full vendor lifecycle, from initial onboarding to contract renewals and termination
- Manage the vendor budgets, track invoices, and ensure cost effectiveness
- Identify opportunities for vendors to improve efficiency and quality within vendor workflows
- Act as the subject matter expert for vendor Order Management and Deal Review workflows, communicating partner needs to cross-functional teams in Reddit to drive process, product, or tooling improvements.
- Keep up with industry trends, rates, and offerings for providing operational support to Sales teams
- Travel to India 1-2 times per year to meet on-site with vendor partners to grow relationships, shadow their operations, and drive operational improvements.
- Create a standard menu of services for order management and deal review, along with robust escalation and quality control processes
- Refine and optimize existing vendor workflows to ensure process steps are clearly documented, with all the necessary details for the vendor to succeed outlined
- Find and implement solutions to continue to refine agent workflows to drive greater efficiency and scale vendor programs to support a growing advertiser base
- Meet regularly with Sales Managers and critical cross-functional partners (such as Risk Assurance, Legal, Pricing) to ensure the vendor programs are meeting current and future business needs
- Collect, review, and action relevant feedback from partner teams through close partnership with our vendor Team Leads
- Share actionable insights with leaders on a regular basis to help them understand trends, patterns, and where there is opportunity to leverage them more effectively
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of experience in a project management and/or operations role, preferably in tech, social media, or a similarly fast paced environment.
- Experience managing vendor operations teams that support sales or support functions
- Experience with order management and contracting
- Process-oriented, with experience in standardizing and optimizing internal processes
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, especially with senior stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and evolving work environment
- Able to manage time efficiently and navigate ambiguity
- Action-oriented and able to break down complex strategy into an actionable plan
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organized and collaborates well with cross functional teams
