About the role
- Completes intakes, develops treatment plans, determines clinical diagnosis and refers clients to appropriate resources internally or externally
- Prepares, plans, facilitates, and implements direct care of consumers through groups and/or individual therapy
- Participates in treatment team meetings providing information pertinent to the welfare of consumers for supervision
- Provides crisis assistance and consults with various third parties as deemed appropriate
- Completes all documentation in a timely manner
- Coordinates input from all team members into the comprehensive treatment plan
- Assists in the development and implementation of programmatic goals and objectives
- Maintains confidentiality
- Maintains core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatment
- Maintains effective working relationships and strategic alliances with consumers, other staff, the community, and other non-profit organizations
- Exercises independent judgment
- Works effectively in a team environment
- Seeks supervision as appropriate for the safety of consumers and adherence to Policy and Procedures
- Encourages teamwork and supports the culture and goals of the agency
- Maintains compliance with state agencies and any other funding /contract sources
- Performs other duties as required
Requirements
- Master’s degree
- Licensed or eligible to go under supervision in the state of Oklahoma as one of the following Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LFMT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Works effectively in a team environment
- Proficient in use of technology to perform duties
