• The Senior Accountant will help scale Red Oak’s accounting function and take ownership of core financial processes as we transition from an outsourced model to a fully in-house operation.
• This is a high-impact, individual contributor role that touches everything from revenue recognition and general ledger accounting to audit support, reporting, and tax system administration.
• This role will partner closely with the Controller, CFO, and cross-functional teams, and play an essential role in building a best-in-class accounting function that supports data-driven decisions and operational excellence.

Product Operations

• Support day-to-day administration of Pendo, including feature tagging, data validation, and basic governance.
• Build and maintain Pendo dashboards and reports to track feature usage, adoption, and user behavior.
• Assist Product Managers with defining and tracking success metrics.
• Help translate product usage data into simple, actionable insights.
• Create and maintain Pendo in-app guides, tooltips, walkthroughs, and announcements.
• Support product launches with in-app messaging and adoption tracking.
• Help analyze results from in-app experiments and engagement efforts.
• Monitor and triage Pendo Feedback and help categorize user requests.
• Assist with Fresh Desk/Zendesk ticket analysis, identifying recurring themes, bugs, and product gaps.
• Help route relevant Client feedback and issues to Product and Engineering teams.
• Support lightweight reporting on support trends and Client pain points.
• Help manage JIRA workflows, including: assisting with backlog hygiene and ticket organization and supporting sprint rituals and status tracking.
• Maintain and organize Confluence documentation, including: product documentation and internal processes and runbooks.
• Support the upkeep and iteration of a Custom GPT, including: updating prompts and knowledge source and ensuring accuracy and usefulness for internal teams.
• Act as a point of contact for product tooling questions (Pendo, JIRA, Confluence).
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Support, and Client Success to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Help identify opportunities to improve or streamline product operations processes.

Product Operations Associate

Full-stack Engineer

• Work effectively with a geographically distributed engineering team and cross-functional partners in a continuously evolving environment.
• Apply systems thinking to backend and platform design, accounting for feedback loops, constraints, and second-order effects across multiple domains and teams.
• Ramp up quickly on an evolving platform that includes a legacy PHP monolith within the platform that is being incrementally evolved into modern .NET backend microservices, along with MySQL schemas and data models that support core business workflows.
• Build high-quality .NET services with clear domain intent, well-defined API contracts, and robust validation.
• Own backend services end-to-end within your domain, acting as the internal expert on their intent, design, lifecycle, and evolution—including enhancement, refactoring, and deprecation.
• Partner with senior engineering staff and architects to refine and evolve system architecture, service boundaries, and modernization strategy.
• Improve legacy behaviors by introducing explicit, action-driven backend transitions and modern workflow patterns that increase clarity, maintainability, and testability.
• Support platform reliability by writing high-quality, testable code and collaborating with QA to ensure strong unit, integration, and API coverage across critical workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and cross-team knowledge sharing to raise the bar on consistency, maintainability, and engineering culture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving multi-step workflows, state transitions, service interactions, and legacy-to-modern integration points.
• Contribute to architecture documentation, onboarding materials, and technical design records to support long-term team scalability.
