About the role

  • Deliver successful workshops of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and influence customer use cases and architecture design decisions.
  • Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat’s services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in the areas of 5G RAN, Openshift Container Platform, Red Hat AI technologies, by producing world-class white papers, webinars, etc., and speaking at industry-leading conferences.
  • Define technical strategy for high-value opportunities, including complex RFx responses.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in solution design and validation.
  • Influence product roadmaps based on customer and industry insights.
  • Represent the company as a thought leader in industry forums.
  • Develop advanced reusable assets to accelerate solution adoption.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT industry experience, working in regulated industries including Telecom, Finance, government, healthcare and power.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in Telecom sector, especially 5G, RAN, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in Red Hat technologies like - Openshift Container Platform, or comparable Kubernetes platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Solid background in consultative customer engagement with a major professional services organization or within the services division of a major software company
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large firms
  • Solutions-sales mentality in an environment with multiple products and services
  • Ability to work seamlessly with distributed, cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers
  • Excellent balance of strategic and tactical skills with a high level of intellectual agility and capacity for original thought
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%
