- Implement automated, containerized solutions focusing on infrastructure
- Learn new technologies quickly including container orchestration, registries, and build strategies
- Travel frequently to work with leading customers
- Attend intensive training on Kubernetes and OpenShift technologies
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a technical discipline
- Experience leading successful modern cloud platform enterprise-level projects
- Deep Linux (RHEL) and automated hardware provisioning (BIOS/UEFI, RAID, BMC/Redfish, Kickstart/Cobbler)
- Advanced Networking: L2/L3 concepts, DHCP/DNS, Load Balancing, CNI (OVN-K, Calico, SR-IOV), network security/firewall policies
- Kubernetes/OpenShift: Cluster architecture, lifecycle management (IPI/UPI, Kubeadm), bare-metal deployment patterns (Metal3, Ironic), Day-2 operations, Operators, GitOps
- Storage: Distributed/local storage, RAID/NVMe, performance tuning, data management/DR (Velero, OADP, Ceph/ODF)
- Strong proficiency in Ansible and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Helm)
- Scripting (Bash, Python, Go)
- Linux/Kubernetes hardening (RBAC, SCC, network policies, TLS/PKI)
- Understanding of compliance standards (NIST, CIS)
- Logging/monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Broad and deep technical experience with VMware
- Ability to lead design workshops and create clear documentation
- Experience in agile, scrum, DevOps teams
