Responsible for the operations of secure and highly available computing platforms, servers, and networks
Install, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve the enterprise’s operating environment
Maintain ongoing reliability, performance and support of the infrastructure
Monitor operating environments; respond to incidents, problems and planning for growth
Deploy the release of new technologies as well as design, install, configure, maintain and perform testing of PC/server operating systems, networks, and related utilities and hardware
Troubleshoot problems as reported by users, support Web access and electronic messaging services, maintain a secure systems environment
Provide infrastructure solutions based on application needs and anticipated growth, install new servers and maintain the infrastructure
Act as a technical liaison between various IT towers, providing operational insight into planned implementations and strategies
Work with project managers to coordinate and plan project tasks and resources
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience
Typically requires a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience deploying and/or administrating infrastructure solutions
Strong knowledge and experience with multiple infrastructure solutions
Strong organization skills
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Good interpersonal skills; solid team player
Knowledge of client/server technology
Knowledge of LINUX and Wintel skills combined with a strong knowledge of System Operations best practices, process and protocols
Exceptional customer service skills
Good group presentation skills
