About the role

  • Implementation of program, departmental and protocols at the Field Case manager level
  • Review and audit of all protocols related to the Field Case manager team
  • Collaboration with the Program Manager to identify efficiency improvements
  • Day to day operational management of Field Case Managers regarding support and training
  • Participation in formal and informal performance appraisals
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with physicians and physician office staff
  • Facilitation and securing of informed patient consent for enrollment into a patient assistance programs
  • Medical records / chart auditing to determine treatment eligible patients
  • Ensure patient services are coordinated and tracked, according to KPI’s, resulting in expedited access to therapy

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or registered nurse (RN) diploma
  • Normally requires a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years in public or private third party reimbursement arena or pharmaceutical industry
  • Certification as a Gastroenterology (CGN) or Infection Control & Prevention (CIC) Nurse, or working towards certification an asset for some programs
  • Knowledge of private and public reimbursement structure, systems, and process
  • Fluency in French, English and/or Cantonese/Mandarin
