About the role
- Manage a team of administrators and drivers
- Ensure the Central Logistics Centre Transport Fleet function delivers agreed financial and customer service objectives
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
- Oversee temperature-controlled distribution operations
- Lead the Health and Safety agenda for transport
- Implement improvements in processes and procedures
Requirements
- Familiarity with relevant UK transport legislation
- Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Experience in driving operational efficiencies
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft tools including 365, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams
- Desirable to have acquired or working to transport manager CPC qualification.
