About the role
- Personalize program elements to meet the needs of designated prescribing physicians.
- Review patient status and assist the prescribing physician with completing patient enrollment.
- Complete all relevant reports in accordance with specified timelines and required standards; support and assist peers through regular communication.
- Establish and maintain a positive relationship with the program’s Patient Support team.
- Participate in scheduled physician meetings with sales representatives.
- Attend planned continuing medical education events and report on new activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or a related discipline, or a nursing diploma.
- Authorization to practice as a nurse (e.g., Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed/Registered Practical Nurse) with active registration with the College of Nurses for the province of employment is required.
- Case management experience preferred; a minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in a clinical setting is an asset.
- Available to travel within an assigned territory; occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and access to reliable transportation for regional travel.
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical business administration, sales and marketing is an asset.
- Fluency in both French and English is required.
