About the role
- Participate in strategic and tactical planning sessions
- Plan and lead management team meetings
- Prepare, maintain, and report on the division's operational plans
- Assist in managing the budget, including responsibility for profit and loss
- Prepare, review, and submit monthly billing reports for client invoicing
- Strategic project management and client account management
- Participate in and provide support to headquarters on various projects
- Collaborate with the leadership team
- Develop performance standards for functional unit managers and measure success against those standards
- Contribute to proposal writing, contracts, client presentations, and pricing
Requirements
- University degree in science/healthcare, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- At least 2 years of management experience
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of client/account management experience
- Knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of post-marketing studies, Health Canada processes, and/or risk management programs
- General knowledge of reimbursement and patient support programs, operational policies and processes, and clinical research
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
- Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including resource modeling and trend reporting
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation abilities
