About the role
- Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of corporate meetings, industry conferences, and events
- Manage the full event lifecycle from strategic meeting management to onsite execution
- Lead in the development and execution of exhibits and promotional assets at industry conferences
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and external agencies for alignment
- Coordinate booth concept, design, production, and setup for all events
- Manage budgets to optimize spending and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Plan and execute corporate sales meetings and customer events
- Develop and manage budgets for each event
- Serve as the primary onsite contact during events and manage logistics
- Conduct post-event evaluations and reconciliations
Requirements
- BA/BS required, preferably in Meeting/Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 5-7+ years’ experience in meeting planning and event/trade show marketing with a strong track record of driving effective business and digital strategies
- Direct experience planning meetings and events and managing tradeshows within the animal health or pharmaceutical industries is strongly preferred
- Ability to travel up to 40-50% of the time
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in use of AI for research or meeting planning
- Must be proficient in Cvent - Web Registration and Mobile Applications
- CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) or similar certification preferred.
