About the role
- Implements, inspects, integrates, tests, and supports Material Handling Controls solutions
- Assists Project Teams with implementation, electrical drawings, and installation
- Participates in technology design, development, testing, and implementation
- Assists with training and support of automated Material Handling installations
- Assists with visualization (SCADA) initiatives and projects
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary
- Performs related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Understanding of Software solutions
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of directly related experience
- Programming skills in SQL Server/Oracle required
- Understanding SCADA concepts and functions
- Experience with User Interface design and optimization preferred
- Programming skills in Visual Studio/Java/Python preferred
- Knowledge of Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLC interfaces
- Experience with HTML and SVG files is a plus
- Experience with writing test plans and user acceptance testing is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
