About the role
- Support all functions and aspects of Product Security at Recorded Future
- Design and implement security solutions
- Investigate alerts and write/tune automated alerts
- Conduct security reviews of proposed new features and advise engineers on security design
- Collaborate with other engineers and teams on security questions and implementations
- Report to the Director of Platform Security based in Gothenburg as part of the Security organization
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience required
- Strong knowledge of computer security
- Background in coding, preferably Go and/or Python
- Cloud security knowledge, preferably AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code, preferably terraform
- Interest in finding the right balance between productivity and security and building relationships with different teams
- Strong communication skills
- Feel able to make risk assessments
- Feel comfortable on Linux and the command line
- Good knowledge of protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, REST and GraphQL
