About the role

  • Ensure the Reconomy Group operates with integrity, purpose, and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Lead group-wide regulatory compliance, GDPR, anti‑bribery and corruption, and sanctions legislation.
  • Maintain robust compliance frameworks and act as the first point of contact for compliance queries.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the compliance function.
  • Investigate, analyse, and report on non‑compliance incidents.
  • Coordinate and support external inspections and audits.
  • Ensure consistent compliance across all Reconomy companies and produce compliance reports for leadership.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in a compliance‑focused role
  • Deep knowledge of data protection regulations, particularly GDPR
  • Familiarity with wider compliance areas such as anti‑bribery, corruption, and sanctions legislation is desirable
  • A proven track record of maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and high ethical standards
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
