About the role
- The Corporate IT Analyst, Projects, plays a pivotal role in the onboarding of newly acquired businesses, ensuring seamless technical integration and migration of systems.
- Lead the technical onboarding of acquisitions, including the migration and integration of Microsoft M365, Mimecast, File Shares, Azure, Intune, and Quest on Demand environments.
- Work closely with internal teams and acquired entities to plan and execute full migrations, including legacy datacentre transitions and system clean-up.
- Ensure all technical onboarding tasks are completed to a high standard, minimizing business disruption and knowledge loss.
- Act as a primary technical point of contact for acquired businesses, providing clear communication and support throughout the onboarding process.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Deliver training and support to end-users as needed.
- Work with departments beyond IT (e.g., HR, Finance, Operations) to ensure technical onboarding aligns with broader business processes and objectives.
- Support due diligence activities, helping to identify technical risks and opportunities early in the acquisition process.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of onboarding processes, templates, and documentation.
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and improved customer experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical onboarding, IT migrations, or similar roles within M&A or large-scale transformation projects.
- Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft M365, Mimecast, File Shares, Azure, Intune, and Quest on Demand.
- Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally (US, EU, UK) as required for project delivery and customer engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering) OR Equivalent professional experience in technical onboarding, IT migrations, or enterprise infrastructure projects.
