About the role
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to create, monitor, and revise product forecasts, striving for precision and continual enhancement.
- Maintain optimum customer service levels by effectively coordinating with production facilities and managing daily forecasts.
- Guide the Sales & Operations Planning (S & OP) process through comprehensive sales meetings and team support.
- Analyse sales trends and promotional impacts to adjust forecasts and recommend actions.
- Manage in-transit and safety stock levels while overseeing overall inventory management.
- Provide insightful analysis and partner with sales and marketing to react promptly to emerging challenges.
Requirements
- Proven experience analysing complex data and identifying solutions to variances.
- A history of building strong relationships and communicating effectively across all business functions.
- A track record of managing workloads effectively and prioritising tasks.
- Prior roles involving demand / supply planning and managing intricate supply chains.
- Proficiency with demand planning software, complemented by sound judgement for alignment processes.
- A collaborative nature that influences and persuades cross-functional teams.
