About the role
- Lead the monthly demand planning cycle utilizing the IBP process, ensuring timely and accurate forecasts at multiple levels (SKU, category, channel)
- Analyze historical sales trends, market intelligence, promotional plans, and seasonality to improve forecast accuracy
- Lead the Demand Review step of the IBP process, ensuring cross-functional alignment and accountability through collaboration with Sales, Finance and Marketing
- Perform root cause analysis to continuously improve fill rates, reduce waste, and achieve key KPIs by collaborating closely with Supply Planning
- Drive continuous improvements through data-driven analysis and supply/demand process enhancements through Integrated Business Planning
Requirements
- 6-8 years in Demand Planning—preferably FMCG/CPG environments
- Proven track record leading the S&OE/IBP process
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Strong capabilities using advanced Excel, planning systems (e.g., SAP ECC, Kinaxis Demand Planning), and Power BI
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Skilled in root cause analysis, demand supply balancing, and responsive decision making
