About the role
- Support the Sales, Strategic Partnerships, Procurement, Marketing and Customer Success orgs
- Provide legal support and advice on a broad range of commercial agreements
- Participate in end-to-end contract support for commercial agreements
- Assist in the operation and development of policies and procedures
- Contribute to problem resolution by identifying, addressing, and escalating issues
- Work cross-functionally on a variety of legal matters
- Provide clear and pragmatic legal advice to non-lawyers
Requirements
- JD from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials
- Active member of a recognized state bar in the United States
- 7+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department
- Excellent negotiating and drafting skills on financial/commercial transactions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize
- Detail oriented and driven to do things right
- Self-motivated with a passion for taking ownership of your work
- Team player with a ‘winning as a team’ attitude
