About the role

  • Own end-to-end HR operations for Rearc India, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance at all times
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable central and state labor laws
  • Manage payroll inputs, reviews, and coordination with payroll providers
  • Oversee income tax compliance related to payroll
  • Manage statutory benefits and contributions
  • Lead employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain employee records, contracts, amendments, and policy acknowledgments
  • Draft, update, and enforce HR policies aligned with Indian law
  • Act as the first line of defense for HR compliance risk
  • Partner with global HR and leadership teams to translate India-specific requirements
  • Support employee relations matters with a strong grounding in legal requirements

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of progressive HR experience in India, ideally supporting a global or US-based company
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in Indian labor and employment laws
  • Strong working knowledge of India income tax law as it relates to payroll
  • Experience managing statutory filings, audits, inspections
  • Strong coaching and listening skills
  • Extremely high organizational standards and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build and maintain clear SOPs, checklists, and documentation
  • Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems (GreytHR experience is a strong plus)
