About the role
- Own and deliver against an aggressive annual revenue target.
- Lead enterprise-level sales efforts across aesthetics, beauty, wellness, and adjacent verticals.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline with accurate forecasting and executive visibility.
- Cultivate and expand relationships with senior brand leaders (CMOs, VPs, founders).
- Structure multi-quarter, multi-platform partnership agreements.
- Identify whitespace opportunities across RealSelf’s ecosystem (digital, newsletter, social, experiential etc.).
- Partner with leadership to refine pricing, packaging, and sales narratives.
- Identify new revenue streams and industry categories for expansion while being creative and tactical in your sales solutions and approach.
- Work closely with Digital, Social & Events teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Lead high-level RFP strategy and oversee complex custom proposals.
- Represent RealSelf at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Requirements
- You have a minimum of 7-10 years of full-cycle sales experience in media or a related industry.
- You possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to close six and seven figure deals and renewals.
- You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset with experience building or scaling revenue at a high-growth company.
- You can prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a complex sales cycle.
- Strong forecasting discipline and revenue accountability.
- Deep network within aesthetics, beauty, wellness, or adjacent industries preferred.
- You are NYC-based and able to work in our downtown office 2 days a week.
- Experience with ad platforms and systems such as Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, and Salesforce is a plus.
