About the role
- Establish Real Chemistry’s narrative and build communications strategies to deliver on that narrative.
- Drive strategic and tactical media relations activities (e.g., press release development, media briefing documents, interview coordination)
- Discover and build relationships with new and evolving health care, business and innovation press and influencers
- Dive deep to capture storytelling opportunities across our business.
- Lead crisis communications plan management and ongoing response.
- Build POV and thought leadership for important issues.
- Routinely measure and report out to stakeholders regarding the impact of communications and use measurement to adjust and adopt strategies accordingly.
- Travel required as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years’ communications experience (in-house or at an agency).
- Ability to interact with employees at all levels and work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast paced, highly matrixed environment.
- Highly organized, mindful of deadlines, able to multi-task and work under limited supervision.
- Ability to take concepts and turn them into actionable steps and execute to precision.
- Willingness to roll-up sleeves and get the job done, no matter how big or small.
- Collaborative, enthusiastic, and positive outlook.
- Comfortable – and successful – working in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
- Proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively and take initiative.
- Strong writing skills; ability to find creative ways to engage and inspire.
