About the role
- Prospecting & Pipeline Development: Drive outbound prospecting efforts through phone, email, events, and social channels
- Develop and execute targeted account strategies to generate new opportunities
- Maintain a highly organized and accurate sales pipeline within the CRM
- Sales Execution: Manage the full sales cycle from discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close
- Conduct consultative discovery conversations with multiple stakeholders
- Present tailored solutions aligned with institutional priorities
- Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Customer Experience teams
- Share market insights and customer feedback to influence product and go-to-market strategies
- Operational Discipline: Maintain pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy
- Execute repeatable sales processes to support scalable growth
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, account executive, or business development roles
- Proven success prospecting and closing new business
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Professional experience working in or supporting the U.S. higher education market.
- Experience selling into higher education institutions (preferred but not required)
- Established relationships with enrollment management, financial aid, or student affairs leaders (preferred but not required)
