About the role

  • Prospecting & Pipeline Development: Drive outbound prospecting efforts through phone, email, events, and social channels
  • Develop and execute targeted account strategies to generate new opportunities
  • Maintain a highly organized and accurate sales pipeline within the CRM
  • Sales Execution: Manage the full sales cycle from discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations with multiple stakeholders
  • Present tailored solutions aligned with institutional priorities
  • Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Customer Experience teams
  • Share market insights and customer feedback to influence product and go-to-market strategies
  • Operational Discipline: Maintain pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy
  • Execute repeatable sales processes to support scalable growth

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, account executive, or business development roles
  • Proven success prospecting and closing new business
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Professional experience working in or supporting the U.S. higher education market.
  • Experience selling into higher education institutions (preferred but not required)
  • Established relationships with enrollment management, financial aid, or student affairs leaders (preferred but not required)
