About the role
- Lead a team in driving the transformation of physical channels activities aligned with RBC Caribbean’s strategic imperatives
- Play a leadership role in the development of strategies for the Physical Channels Portfolio across the Caribbean, with a greater emphasis on transformational initiatives
- Establish the Physical Channels roadmap while ensuring alignment of portfolio strategies with RBC Caribbean’s strategic imperatives
- Plan, direct, lead and coordinate activities for Physical Channels related initiatives, to ensure the initiative’s goals or objectives are accomplished within approved timeframe, scope and budget
- Proactively develop strategies to enable greater acquisition, retention and growth targets
- Accountable for achieving the approved program objectives and key results – on time, within scope and within budget
- As the portfolio’s owner, define and prioritize the requirements of physical channels projects, make decisions on the design of premises while carrying out the vision of Physical Channels to the team and organization
- Drive initiatives to achieve target client satisfaction scores, resolve client and employee irritants and improve channel delivery
- Collaborate with key functional partners to establish appropriate benchmarks to achieve channel revenue and cost objectives within risk appetite
Requirements
- Must-have University Degree and/or extensive related work experience
- Minimum seven (7) years in Financial Services Industry, with four (4) years of strategy and/or product experience and two (2) years of Program Management experience
- Strategic, growth mindset with excellent knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry
- Experience with developing strategy, communicating portfolio financial results and performance to senior leadership
- Strong collaborator with a proven track record of driving change
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Nice-to-have MBA
- Project Management Designation e.g. PMP
- Experience working in an Agile Environment
