About the role
- Provide compliance support to RBCIS business teams
- Manage inquiries from regulatory bodies
- Support the team’s activities under the Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) program
- Work with the Compliance team in developing and conducting monitoring activities as described in the RCM Framework
- Support the Compliance team’s performance of other RCM functions, special initiatives and projects as needed
- Intake, track and process correspondence and inquiries from regulatory bodies with business team support
- Support the Compliance team’s oversight of RBCIS’ pension contribution monitoring and regulatory reporting
- Administer updates to compliance policies, procedures and intranet websites
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience in compliance and/or audit
- Ability to multi-task with exceptional level of accuracy
- Strong ethics and values to ensure regulations are met and adherence to RBC standards
- Experience and ability to communicate to impact and influence with all levels of management/staff
- PC literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with an automation mindset
- University degree in business, finance, economics or other related discipline
- Previous banking sector experience (Nice to have)
- Fluency in French (Nice to have)
