About the role

  • Provide compliance support to RBCIS business teams
  • Manage inquiries from regulatory bodies
  • Support the team’s activities under the Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) program
  • Work with the Compliance team in developing and conducting monitoring activities as described in the RCM Framework
  • Support the Compliance team’s performance of other RCM functions, special initiatives and projects as needed
  • Intake, track and process correspondence and inquiries from regulatory bodies with business team support
  • Support the Compliance team’s oversight of RBCIS’ pension contribution monitoring and regulatory reporting
  • Administer updates to compliance policies, procedures and intranet websites

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in compliance and/or audit
  • Ability to multi-task with exceptional level of accuracy
  • Strong ethics and values to ensure regulations are met and adherence to RBC standards
  • Experience and ability to communicate to impact and influence with all levels of management/staff
  • PC literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with an automation mindset
  • University degree in business, finance, economics or other related discipline
  • Previous banking sector experience (Nice to have)
  • Fluency in French (Nice to have)
