About the role

  • Maintain accurate customer account records
  • Process medical claims
  • Reconcile monthly remittance advice
  • Generate billing reports
  • Resolve issues efficiently and effectively

Requirements

  • 5+ years of health care administration and customer service experience
  • 2+ years experience with Manitoba (MHSIP) AND Saskatchewan (MSB) Provincial Billing
  • 2+ years experience working with Accuro or Telus EMRs
  • 1+ years of team management experience
  • Strong cross functional capabilities to identify interdependencies between teams
  • Proactive identification of problems and solution implementation
  • Strong communication skills with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to create quality internal documentation
  • Comfortable working with some ambiguity with an adaptable mindset
  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented; coaching team to deliver high quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Previous experience working with an EMR or EHR company directly (Nice to Have)
  • Graduate degree in health care administration or equivalent experience (Nice to Have)
  • Proficient in SharePoint, Metabase, Confluence, Outlook, Excel (Nice to Have)
