About the role
- Work with the recruiting team on new hire onboarding, including finding opportunities to automate workflows
- Ensure new hires have the right equipment, access and swag on their first day
- Manage benefit enrollment and execution of the annual open enrollment process
- Run biweekly payroll
- Own employee off-boarding
- And as you get your feet under you, there will be opportunities to get exposure to other HR areas like immigration, compensation, and compliance.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in an operations-focused role
- Proficient in Google Suite
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for precision when it matters
- Politely persistent, especially with vendors
- A creative problem solver with a knack for consistently asking: is there a better way to do this?
- Empathy and patience
