About the role

  • Supports a range of financial analysis, preparation of reports and other finance activities to support Business Area/Unit finance priorities
  • Supports in processing forecasts and budgets in line with best practices and the broader business context, using appropriate numerical and statistical techniques
  • Supports in analysing and summarizing financial data into concise financial reports to comply with standards and procedures. Contributes to identification of data issues that are affecting productivity or compliance
  • Supports all financial reporting cycles with relevant and accurate information. Supports on the processing of the monthly results, statutory reports, short term forecasts/budgets and the strategic plan
  • Supports the identification and management of risk through regular assessment and diligent execution of controls and mitigations
  • Supports in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within area of responsibility, and communicates issues and areas for improvement to senior team members and management
