About the role
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, identify target markets, and assess competitive landscapes.
- Develop and execute strategic action plans to target and win the right opportunities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential customers, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
- Ensure superb handoff of accounts to account managers through planning, sharing, and executing together.
- Work with leadership and program managers on complex opportunities.
- Seek out and cultivate strategic partnerships with complementary businesses to enhance market reach and product offerings.
- Target focus customer expansion accounts.
- Work with Account Executive (AE) to decide if BDM support is needed for existing accounts.
- Traveling one week on, one week off, to meet clients, build relationships, and spot growth opportunities.
- Submit a meeting report after each client visit to the global sales team.
- Work and collaborate with SPs and BDMs from other regions if required.
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven track record in international business development and/or sales, within the technology industry.
- Strong understanding of technology products and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate oneself.
- 3-5+ years’ international business development and/or sales, within electronic components, computer hardware, ITAD, or electronic distribution industries (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Ability to travel for customer meetings as needed.
