About the role
- Manage the end-to-end setup, delivery, and optimization of campaigns within Google Ad Manager (GAM).
- Maintain and optimize connections with various SSPs and header bidding partners.
- Monitor and adjust floor prices across various tiers to maximize RPM and reduce wasted inventory.
- Act as the lead for technical discrepancies, creative QA, and debugging delivery issues.
- Generate daily/weekly performance reports for internal stakeholders, focusing on fill rates and technical health.
- Follow the ad delivery process, ensuring correct implementation and functioning across different channels.
- Work closely with the Sales and AM team to debug errors related to ad creatives, tag implementations, and third-party programmatic partner integrations.
- Manage and maintain a healthy ads.txt ID list.
- Ensure brand safety and compliance with ad policies while working with internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2-3 years in digital advertising, specifically within Ad Ops or Programmatic Strategy.
- Expert-level knowledge of Google Ad Manager.
- Experience with SSPs (Magnite, PubMatic, Xandr, etc.) and DMPs/CDPs is a plus.
- Comfortable working with large datasets; proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is a must.
- SQL knowledge is a major plus.
- Ability to translate technical "ad tech speak" into clear, value-driven language for sales teams and clients.
- A natural curiosity for why things break and how to make them run more efficiently.
