About the role

  • Manage hourly hotline staff to ensure operational policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Supervise staff, ensure quality services, and manage employees for assigned SHL shifts
  • Responsible for hiring new staff, coaching, and performance evaluations
  • Provide ongoing training, feedback, and support to employees on assigned shifts
  • Respond to employee complaints and ensure a level of professionalism in workplace behavior

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or relevant field
  • 2+ years' experience working or volunteering in a social services field, preferably crisis intervention services
  • 2+ years' experience managing paid staff, preferably in environments with multiple work shifts
  • Must possess excellent English-language communication skills (oral and written)
  • Must type a minimum of 35 wpm with accuracy
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace applications
