About the role

  • Implement and oversee programs and initiatives developed by the Indigenous Women and Local Communities Movement
  • Provide technical guidance and support to women leaders
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Create platforms for dialogue and participation among members of the movement
  • Facilitate the sharing of best practices and lessons learned

Requirements

  • Extensive experience working with organizations and social movements
  • Knowledge and understanding of organizational dynamics
  • Knowledge of UN system and policy spaces related to climate change
  • Experience in project management
  • Proactive, with a spirit of collaboration and good interpersonal relationships
  • English proficiency and proficiency in a second GATC official language (Bahasa Indonesia, French, Portuguese, or Spanish)
