Content Manager

• The Editorial Manager is RFUS’s lead writer and editor, responsible for shaping how the organization communicates its mission and impact.
• This role leads the messaging strategy in support of RFUS’s 2030 strategy and goals.
• Translate organizational strategy, program work, and impact into compelling content and stories that drive fundraising, engagement, and visibility.
• Manage RFUS editorial calendar and production timelines.
• Lead the development, editorial review, and fact-checking of high-impact content.
• Ensure consistency in message, tone, and branding in outgoing communications across all platforms.
• Lead website content strategy and implementation in collaboration with the Digital Communications Manager.
• Collaborate with the Programs team and Communications team to develop compelling narratives and stories.
• Collaborate with the Fundraising team to develop key messaging and storytelling for fundraising campaigns.
• Lead media relations and serve as a key spokesperson for RFUS.
• Co-lead the development and execution of RFUS’s annual communication strategy in support of our 2030 goals.
• Manage any assigned budget and collaborate in the development of the annual department budget.
• Regularly track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and inform future decisions.

Editorial Manager

DevOps Engineer

• Owning and scaling Rainforest’s Amazon Web Services (AWS)-based cloud infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) orchestration
• Building, operating, and continuously improving Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and serverless environments that support our core payments services
• Designing and maintaining modern CI/CD pipelines with GitLab to enable fast, safe deployments
• Implementing and evolving monitoring, alerting, and observability to ensure high uptime and quick incident resolution using tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and New Relic
• Automating infrastructure and operational processes to eliminate manual work and accelerate delivery
• Working side-by-side with application engineers to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Leading incident response efforts, conducting postmortems, and driving continuous improvement
• Helping to define and roll out SRE best practices, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets as the company scales
• Optimizing for cost, security, and compliance in a regulated fintech environment
• Supporting and scaling Postgres database infrastructure using AWS RDS offerings (Global Aurora)

Site Reliability Engineer

Account Executive

• Owning the full sales cycle across Enterprise platforms - from lead to close
• Educating and pitching Rainforest’s solution with a consultative approach
• Building and maintaining key relationships with C-level executives, while orchestrating all executive touch points needed to drive deals forward
• Prospecting and outbounding new target platforms and contacts across email, phone calls, live meetings and LinkedIn
• Curating responses and formally answering RFPs
• Representing Rainforest at conferences, networking events, and corporate engagements
• Continually updating and managing Hubspot pipelines for tracking and forecasting
• Working with company leaders from multiple functions (e.g., Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Finance) to put together business plans and driving strategy

Account Manager

• Develop a concise 3-month Philanthropic Engagement Plan
• Identify and qualify 20–30 new philanthropic prospects aligned with RFUS’s mission
• Support initial engagement with priority donors
• Support RFUS leadership in converting interest into multi-year commitments
• Deliver a Donor Pipeline & Next Steps document
