About the role
- Raft is the intelligent logistics platform for freight forwarders and customs brokers
- Role within the Machine Learning team to automate logistics operations and handle anomalies
- Generate training data through manual labelling or validation of customer data
- Test effectiveness and accuracy of ML models, set up and ideally automate test routines
- Create reports with quantitative and qualitative insights, including aggregation and visualisation
- Collaborate with multiple squads in the ML team and work on multiple projects in parallel
Requirements
- Up to 2 years of work experience
- Diligence and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
- Ability to handle high levels of ambiguity, change, and a fast-paced work tempo
- Ability to understand complex instructions and communicate gained insights from the data back to the team
- Openness to acquiring a domain knowledge of logistics processes, in particular, the documents involved in them
- Nice to have: Experience working in a fast-paced environment (start-up, strategy consulting, investment banking)
- Nice to have: Experience working with data labelling tools (Label Studio, Doccano, INCEpTION)
- Nice to have: Domain knowledge about the logistics industry
- Nice to have: Basic knowledge of command line tools
- Nice to have: Experience in Quality Assurance, especially automated QA with cypress
- Nice to have: A STEM or another quantitative degree from a globally recognized university
