Conduct comprehensive application migration and cloud readiness assessments.
Lead high-level and detailed architectural designs covering Azure Well Architected Framework pillars and application modernization requirements.
Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops, clearly translating business and technical requirements into actionable design documents.
Develop and present Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) calculations and migration cost analyses to stakeholders.
Provide expert guidance and leadership throughout cloud migration and modernization projects, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices.
Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
Ensure clear, concise, and proactive communication across all levels of the organization.
Travel up to 15% domestically

Requirements

High School Diploma or regional equivalent required
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in a field related to the role
A minimum of 8 years of proven experience as a Cloud Architect, specifically in application migrations and modernizations within Azure environments
Deep technical knowledge in Azure Cloud services, networking, security frameworks, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Kubernetes (AKS), container technologies, and Azure App Service
Strong hands-on experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD using GitHub Actions or similar tool
Demonstrable ability to conduct effective cloud assessments and translate business needs into high-quality architectural designs
Exceptional soft skills, including clear communication, proactive engagement, and effective teamwork.
Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate) preferred
