About the role

  • Design, implement, and optimise secure, high‑performance network infrastructures across Sovereign Customer environment.
  • Define network architecture standards and lead major network transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure resilience and security of switching and firewall platforms.
  • Produce high‑quality design documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, diagrams, and standards before implementation.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver scalable network solutions.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise‑grade firewall and switching solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of firewall technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Check Point).
  • Deep understanding of switching architectures (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, etc.).
  • Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), network segmentation, and secure access design.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles, Zero Trust, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to produce high‑quality architectural documentation and diagrams.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • CCNP/CCIE, PCNSE, JNCIP/JNCIE, NSE, or equivalent.
