About the role

  • Manage the indirect relationships with Distributors in your region, acting as an agent of change and influence and ensuring flawless alignment in translating the Company’s strategies to the Distributors in your market.
  • Support distributor owners, directors, managers and coordinators/supervisors by participating in the rollout and implementation of the strategic plan and ensuring tactical execution down to the level of the sales representatives in the Distributor network.
  • Operating with a mindset of nonconformity, ownership (proactivity) and collaboration is essential for success in this role.
  • Co-lead with Distributors the development of business plans to expand regional market share.
  • Analyze the market and monitor competitors' actions (promotions, materials, channel-specific activities, etc.) to build a comprehensive assessment of the behavior of the channels served by the Distributor.
  • Serve as the primary person responsible for results in the reseller network and Shell service stations, seeking to expand the customer base and volumes of your Distributors and managing the sustainability of partners’ businesses while meeting the Company’s established requirements.
  • Develop and upskill Distributor staff in sales techniques, pipeline management, KPI controls, target management and teamwork, and coach them in developing the competencies required for the business.
  • Implement commercial management best practices to ensure the development and evolution of the franchised partner network.
  • Manage marketing initiatives, trade marketing activities and strategic alignment by segment.
  • Engage internal and external teams to achieve results by connecting multiple areas of the business.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics and business indicators to support better decision-making and guide partners, demonstrating the ability to develop actions that maximize short-term results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (completed)
  • Experience in commercial/sales roles
  • Experience with distribution channels
  • Experience in indirect sales leadership
  • Availability for frequent travel
  • Must reside in São Paulo, SP
  • Experience using Power BI, strong Excel skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
