About the role
- Manage the indirect relationship with the Distributors in your region, acting as an agent of change and influence and ensuring perfect alignment when translating the Company’s strategies to the Distributors in your market;
- Support distributor owners, executives, managers and coordinators/supervisors by participating in the breakdown and implementation of the strategic plan and ensuring tactical execution down to the sales level of the distributor network;
- Work with nonconformity, ownership and collaboration—these qualities are essential for success in this role;
- Lead, together with Distributors, the development of a business plan to expand regional market share;
- Analyze the market, monitoring competitor activities (promotions, materials, channel-specific actions, etc.) to develop a comprehensive assessment of the behavior of the channels served by the Distributor;
- Serve as the main owner of results for the resellers and Shell service stations sector, seeking to expand the customer base and volume of your assigned Distributors, managing the sustainability of partners’ businesses and complying with the Company’s established premises;
- Develop and train Distributor staff on sales techniques, pipeline management, KPI controls, target management, teamwork, and coach them in developing the competencies required for the business;
- Implement commercial management best practices to ensure the advancement of the franchised partner network;
- Manage marketing initiatives, trade marketing activities and strategic alignment across segments;
- Engage internal and external teams to deliver results by connecting multiple areas of the business;
- Analyze data and performance indicators and business metrics to support better decision-making and partner guidance, and have the ability to develop actions that boost short-term results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher;
- Experience in commercial/sales roles;
- Availability for frequent travel;
- Experience with distribution channels;
- Experience in indirect commercial leadership;
- Ability to analyze business indicators/KPIs;
- Strong communication skills, persuasive influence and good organizational abilities;
- Experience using Power BI, strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
