• Manage and develop accounting staff, including offshore resources
• Oversee performance, workflow distribution, and process accountability
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all accounting activities
• Build scalable team structures to support company growth
• Oversee General Ledger (GL) integrity and month-end close process
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Oversee billing operations within a services-based revenue model
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition, particularly within project-based or time & materials environments
• Support and maintain strong internal controls
• Partner with operations and project teams to ensure financial accuracy
• Improve reporting processes and financial visibility across the organization
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and support external financial audits
• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
• Help modernize financial workflows to support company growth
• Strengthen documentation and controls in preparation for growth or M&A activity (if applicable)
• Oversee Sales & Use Tax compliance, including filings, reconciliations, and jurisdictional requirements
