About the role
- Help patients check into the Emergency Department
- Answer questions during registration
- Build trust with patients by collecting information accurately and quickly
- Listen with compassion to address patients' fears, concerns, and questions
- Work on computers and answer phones to intake information in a busy environment
- Collect details between physician and nurse check-ins
- Type quickly and handle interruptions during registration
- Assist patients who may be very ill or worried
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service experience
